Women's Council

The Women's Council is an organization of ladies of all age groups dedicated to serving the Church and enriching their spirituality.  The Council is open to all women of the parish.

The members provide meals for funerals, organize receptions for special events, care for the altar and the candles that adorn it, as well as cleaning and ironing the altar linens.  The Council provides scholarships for graduating seniors from our parish by raising funds from its Annual Bazaar; sends sympathy and get-well cards when given the information and helps with other church-sponsored activities. 

The Women's Council also sponsors a Women's Day of Prayer to focus on the spiritual needs of all women in the parish.  The St. Raphael Women's Council meets the second Tuesday of every month (excluding two summer months) at 9:00 a.m. in Faith Hall.
